The collection and development of
program materials to support new community groups and/or assist
existing groups has been a collaborative effort. Many groups have
shared their materials to be used in developing a national
package. The materials included in this packet may be used as is,
or modified to meet your group‚s focus. If modified, they should
be personalized with your group‚s name/logo.

establishing a community group for the purpose of hosting children,

Packet. Should you decide to go forward with this program,

The Group Organizational
Materials Packet provides organizational-structure documents, e.g.,
By-laws, Articles of Incorporation, Memorandum of Understanding,
Fundraising Handbook, Chernobyl Children Forms, Coordinator Position
Descriptions, etc. for your program.

The material in the Host Family
Introduction Packet provides background information on the
Chernobyl children, their culture, and the impact of the Chernobyl
accident on them.

Once a family has been
chosen to host a Chernobyl child, the Host Family
Orientation Packet will provide information on "how and what to do"
in preparing for the guest(s) visit, during their stay in your home,
preparing for their return, and after they return home.

form and we will send you the requested materials. The
current cost for all four packets is $45.00. Send your check

receipt of check, packets will be sent.
